BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2858

BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2858 is a hydrophilic aliphatic polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI). As a ready-to-use hardener for waterborne two-component systems. It has a NCO content of approx. 13.3 % and viscosity of approx. 500 mPa.s at 23 °C. BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2858 is suitable for applications where reliable incorporation and high chemical resistances are required. It can be easily dispersed in the aqueous phase, even at low shear forces, making it ideal for applications involving manual mixing. It has good miscibility with both acrylic polyols as well as polyurethane dispersions. BAYHYDUR ULTRA 2858 provides benefits such as improved durability, chemical resistance and longer lifespan to finished products.
